Eyal Danon is the President and Founder of Ignite Advisory Group, and a world-renowned expert on customer and partner advisory boards.
Question: Eyal: With more people getting Covid vaccines and companies talking about business travel, are you starting to see the return of in-person CAB meetings?
Answer: Many of our clients are starting to consider and even plan for in-person CAB meetings later in 2021. But there are several realms that they must first determine. The first is what their own company policy is regarding travel and attending in-person meetings. Will these be allowed, and are there any risks or liabilities here? The second consideration is the same regarding their CAB members' company travel policies. Some clients are surveying members to see where they stand on business travel for CAB meetings, from a corporate and personal comfort level. Lastly, CAB host companies are evaluating where the best location for an in-person meeting should take place. Some of our clients are considering warmer locations where outdoor social activities would work best. And, one client has booked a small, boutique hotel for fall 2021 to have the entire space only to themselves during their CAB meeting.
