❓ Question: Eyal: We are considering holding our next CAB meeting at the same location and right after an industry conference. Would you recommend we do this?
✔️ Answer: While doing so may be convenient for your customers’ (and own executives’) travel schedules, there are significant cons to consider. The adjacent conference may be a competing focus that distracts CAB members or your company leadership. Everyone may be too tired to actively contribute to a CAB meeting. Finally, as your members are likely busy people, they likely can’t extend their time away beyond the conference. Instead, we recommend making your CAB meeting so strong that it warrants its own special location and date – and the focus and dedication of all participants.
